Yesterday Loudon County Sheriff’s Office front-line supervisors from both the Patrol Division and Corrections Division completed a 3-day leadership course.

The leadership course was instructed by Deputy Chief Rick Baker and was an in-depth training model consisting of topics on Effective Communication, Self Leadership, Changing the Culture Through Serving Others, Building an Effective Team and Servant Leadership.

“It is a leaders job to develop the men and women below him. We would not be doing our job if we didn’t properly develop our leaders as well” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “These supervisors learned a lot over the last three days and I am confident that they will take what they have learned and continue to make this department better each day.”
