Today, we honor and bid farewell to three of our courageous deputies who are set to deploy to the Middle East in the next few months with the Tennessee Army National Guard’s 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment. Chief Deputy Zac Frye, Sergeant Detective Shane Gaumer and Deputy Bo Jones are deploying overseas with the Army National Guard for a nine month deployment in support of operations in the Middle East.

“These deputies have shown unwavering dedication not only in their duties protecting our community but also in their commitment to serve our country” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “Their bravery and service inspire us all, and we stand united in support of their mission.”

Please join us in wishing them a safe deployment and a swift return home. Your thoughts and prayers mean the world to these heroes and their families.

We look forward to their safe return and thank them for their sacrifice and service. Godspeed, gentlemen!
