An Anderson County Deputy, well known to many of us here at LCSO, is fighting for his life. And his wife, who is also a Deputy with ACSO, is asking for your prayers as he is undergoing treatment at the University of Tennessee’s Trauma Intensive Care Unit.
Deputy Lucas Shoffner and his wife Nicole were struck by a vehicle while they were off-duty. The couple were attempting to repair a dirt bike alongside the roadway when they were struck by a full size truck.
Luke Shoffner, who also serves in the Army National Guard, suffered serious injuries and is currently in a medically induced coma at UT.
Please join us in sharing Lucas’s story and in praying for his recovery.
Deputy Shoffner has participated in several region-wide community events alongside our Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Family and is loved by many of us.
Lucas, everyone at LCSO is pulling for you!
