Sergeant Cole Rogers becomes first ever Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) within the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office. DRE school consists of an extensive two week academic portion along with a field practical requiring students to conduct a minimum of 12 drug influence evaluations. Sergeant Rogers successfully complete all phases of the course and received his DRE certification.

“I want our agency to do everything we can to invest in our deputies to be the best trained and most proficient law enforcement professionals in this area. It is a promise I made and it’s a promise I’ll keep. Sergeant Rogers is proven to be one of the top DUI performers within our agency and this certification shows what kind of impact he can make” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis.

Rogers also holds an Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement certification along with several traffic and DUI awards.
