The Loudon County Detention Facility has received its 2022 jail certification from the Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI). This certification acknowledges the facility’s compliance with TCI standards for the operation of local correctional facilities. The inspection was conducted in 2022.
The Tennessee Corrections Institute conducted a thorough inspection of the Loudon County Detention Facility, examining all aspects of the facility’s operations, including administration, security, inmate services, and sanitation. The certification process is an ongoing effort to ensure that local correctional facilities provide safe and humane conditions for those in custody.
“The safety and security of our inmates, staff and community is our number one priority” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “This certification once again is a reflection of the hard work our staff puts into this facility to ensure the highest standards are met.”
