Sheriff Jimmy Davis along with members of his staff visited the Boys & Girls Club of Loudon County on Thursday afternoon.

Sheriff Davis and Chief Deputy Zac Frye spoke to the kids about effective communication and the importance of good communication and listening. Chief Deputy Frye had the kids play games that required them to think quickly and effectively communicate with their peers.

After the games the kids visited with two LCSO K-9s, Kora and Deja-Vu. Deputy Chance Gray and Deputy Clay Jenkins spoke to the kids about how effective communication with their K-9 partner is extremely important. The kids enjoyed some time to pet the K-9s and ask questions.
