Sheriff Jimmy Davis, holding his first Christmas event as Loudon County Sheriff, awarded seven employees as “Deputies of the Year” and recognized one with a special award named in honor of Sergeant Chris Jenkins.

Each year the Sheriff selects deputies or employees from each division; Patrol Deputy of the year, Patrol Supervisor of the year, Male Corrections Deputy of the year, Female Corrections Deputy of the year, School Resource Deputy of the year, Reserve/Part-Time Deputy of the year and Employee of the year.

Sheriff Davis and his Command Staff selected an additional award to be given this year and the years to follow. The new award is the “Chris Jenkins Selfless Service Award”.
