This week Sheriff Jimmy Davis and Chief Deputy Zac Frye were presented a $7,000 check from Sandy White with the Good Neighbors Shoppe in Lenoir City for the Loudon County Project Lifesaver Program.
The money will allow for the agency to purchase much needed equipment for the Program and help the agency provide better services to our community.
The Loudon County Project Lifesaver Program is a public safety, non-profit organization that provides law enforcement, fire/rescue and caregivers with a program designed to protect, and when necessary, quickly locate individuals with cognitive disorders who are prone to the life of threatening behavior of wandering. Project Lifesaver provides locating techniques to aid in the search and rescue of individuals.
