LCSO Patrol Deputy Justin Parks located a missing/endangered juvenile out of Georgia after a vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel on Interstate 75 in Philadelphia.
While our deputies continue to do great work each and every day, sometimes certain things are worth mentioning and we’re happy to share this story of great, pro-active police work.
Deputy Justin Parks was conducting traffic enforcement on Interstate 75 at approximately 11pm on Monday night and noticed a driver failing to maintain his lane while driving on the interstate. Upon a traffic stop of the vehicle, Deputy Parks noticed that the passenger, a 15 yr old female, was entered as a missing/endangered juvenile out of Georgia. After further investigation it was determined that the driver, Joshua Workman, was attempting to take the juvenile female to Ohio.
Workman was arrested for Harboring or Hiding a Runaway Child, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Violation of Alcoholic Beverage Laws. The juvenile female was released to her parents and returned home.
Great work Deputy Justin Parks on locating this missing/endangered juvenile and arresting the person responsible for these crimes!
