On Sunday members of the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit attended the Girl Scout Gold Gala located at The Foundry in Downtown Knoxville.

Alex Perlov received her Girl Scout Gold Award for her work in improving the relationship between the LCSO K-9 Unit and the Loudon County Community.

Alex has dedicated hundreds of hours to help better educate the community on the benefits of K-9s in Law Enforcment and their relationship with the people of Loudon County.

The Girl Scout Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. Open only to girls in high school. This prestigious award challenges them to change the world–or at least their corner of it. The Girl Scout Gold Award requires that girls complete a minimum of 80 hours of work. By the time the final touches are put on a seven-step project, they have solved a community problem-not only in the short term, but also for years into the future.

Thank you Alex Perlov for your outstanding work!
