Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Detective Samantha Carver recently completed the FBI-LEEDA Internal Affairs Investigations Course hosted by the Collierville Police Department.
The course is a 40hr course focused on best practices related to effective internal control mechanisms to promote enhanced agency accountability in the current environment of police reform. The course also focuses on agency policies and procedures, effective complaint processes, investigation of personnel complaints, administrative law and disciplinary due process.
Detective Carver is 1 of 3 Criminal Investigators at the LCSO that are certified to conduct internal affairs investigations and together they make up the Professional Standards Division within the Criminal Investigations Division.
