This week, the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office partnered with Loudon County Schools TN to provide essential active shooter training to our dedicated teachers and staff as part of their district-wide training. This training involved teachers and staff from all 9 schools across Loudon County and was conducted at Loudon High School.
Ensuring the safety of our students and educators is a top priority. The comprehensive training sessions are designed to equip our school personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Teachers and staff members participated in a realistic scenario-based exercise, learning critical response techniques and strategies. The training emphasized the importance of quick thinking, clear communication, and coordinated actions to protect our school community.
We are grateful for the collaboration between the LCSO and Loudon County Schools. Together, we are committed to creating a safer and more secure environment for our children to learn and grow.
A special thank you to all the educators who took part in this important training. Your dedication to the safety and well-being of our students is truly commendable.
Stay safe, Loudon County!
