Sheriff Jimmy Davis and his staff honored the graduates of Class #25 of the LCSO Citizens Law Enforcment Academy Thursday evening during a ceremony at the Loudon County Justice Center.

The graduates who attended this program spent one night a week for 11 weeks learning about the different divisions and jobs within the sheriff’s office. Students also took part in some hands-on learning experiences involving firearms and driving.

The goal of the Citizens Academy is to provide citizens with an inside look into the sheriff’s office, increase communication and build relationships with community members.

Congratulations Class #25 and thank you for the last 11 weeks!
