This past week the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office and Loudon County Schools completed active shooter training.
This training was presented by Sheriff Jimmy Davis, Deputy Chief Rick Baker, Lieutenant Shane Ezell and Lieutenant Jerraime Bowen. The training was an introduction into what to expect in the unfortunate event of an active shooter. The training was conducted over two days and held at North Middle School and Loudon High School. All faculty and staff from every school in Loudon County were present for the training.
“I am thankful for the relationship we have with Director Garren and the Loudon County School system to allow us to be able to hold this type of training for our teachers and faculty members,” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “ Our number one priority is the safety of our children and staff and it’s our goal to ensure everyone is better prepared to handle any situation.”
