On Saturday Sergeant Detective Kevin Kirkland along with Corrections Staff helped a local Girl Scout Troop earn their detective badge.

The Girl Scout Troop went over different different ways to fingerprint. Each scout fingerprinted themselves as well as pulled prints off of a chair. After their fingerprint class with Detective Kirkland they were given a tour of the Loudon County Detention Facility from Sergeant Brad McCall and Corporal Matt Chambers.

“We are extremely thankful to be able to provide a glimpse into what our deputies do each day and the hard work they put into their jobs” said Sheriff Jimmy Davis. “It’s great to see Detective Kirkland and our Corrections Staff providing mentorship and training to our local Girl Scout Troop.”

Thank you Sergeant Detective Kevin Kirkland and Corrections Staff and congratulations to all who earned their detective badge!
